On Thursday, September 12, 2024, Wisconsin International University College, Ghana proudly received its institutional accreditation as a Cybersecurity Service Provider, following the successful registration of its Critical Information Infrastructure.
This significant achievement adds immense value to WIUC-Ghana’s MSc. Cybersecurity programme, which was launched earlier this August. Students will gain hands-on experience and industry-relevant skills even before completing the programme.
This development follows the recent commissioning of a state-of-the-art Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and AI Laboratory by Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, which is the first of its kind in the West African subregion. The laboratory is equipped with cutting-edge tools and technology to enhance the practical learning of Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.
Beyond the introduction of new master’s programmes, Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, thanks to these advanced facilities, will offer top-tier Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics services tailored to the needs of Financial Institutions, Security Organizations, and Educational Establishments.
The award was graciously accepted on behalf of the institution by President Prof. Obeng Mireku and COO Jacob Fynn.
