A delegation from the Yobe State scholarship board in Nigeria, made up of its Executive Secretary, Alhaji Musa Mustapha, and the Director of Nursing Services of the Ministry of Health, Alhaji Wakil Mohammed Kawi have expressed strong admiration at the quality of learning facility at Wisconsin International University College Ghana(WIUC-GH).

During a tour of the university’s facilities, the two expressed awe at the state-of- the art high-tech facilities, including the nursing skills laboratory at the school of nursing, the moot court at the law school and the video and audio studios at the school of communications.

The Director of Nursing services of the ministry of Health, Alhaji Wakil Mohammed said their trip to Ghana was to scout for potential universities for students on scholarship back in Nigerian and upon recommendation decided to visit the Wisconsin International University College.

On his part the Executive Secretary of the Yobo State scholarship board, Alhaji Musa Mustapha told the media, a lot of the Nigerian graduates from other states who studied at the Wisconsin University are performing creditably. He also hoped the rapid expansion of the school’s facilities can accommodate more students from Yobo State in the near future.

The two man delegation were received by the Chancellor of the University Rev. Dr. Paul Fynn, the vice chancellor and other faculty members. The Chancellor assured the delegation that with its world class facilities the Wisconsin international university would offer Nigerian students and students from other African countries a rich learning experience comparable to any university in world.

The vice Chancellor reiterated the University’s commitment at ensuring discipline among it teaching and non-teaching at all times.

He added that the school is one big African community with the presence of students from over 25 African countries.Deans from the various faculties and Schools in the University who were also present in the meeting took turns to brief the delegation on the various academic programs running in the University.
