WIUC-Ghana is governed by the following principal officers:
WIUC-Ghana is governed by a Governing Council and an Academic Board.
The composition of the Governing Council is as follows:
- Four representatives of shareholders, one of whom is the Chairman of the Council.
- The Principal.
- One representative of the University of Ghana.
- One representative of the University of Cape Coast.
- One representative of all other affiliate organisations.
- One representative of Alumni.
- One individual invited by the Principal (in consultation with the shareholders) in their own capacity. .
- The SRC President

Rev. Dr. Paul Kofi Fynn
Biography
Rt. Rev. Dr. Paul Kofi Fynn was born on February 10, 1940 at Manso-Atwere, a town in the Amansie West District in the Ashanti Region of the Republic of Ghana. He is the sixth of nine children born to his parents.
Education
In 1971, he was enrolled in Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, USA graduating with B.A. English. He then attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA where he obtained M.A. in Journalism in 1978. He worked with a newspaper, Chicago Tribune, USA, for a brief period in 1978 and proved his worth in journalism. He earned Doctor of Divinity by the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1994.
He is the current African World Area Representative on the International Lutheran Council from 2003 to present, having served as Secretary of the same body from 1978 to 1990. As worker priest he receives no salary from the Church.
Career / Leadership
He has been the Bishop of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ghana from 1978 to present, Senior Lecturer, Lutheran Seminary, Accra, Ghana from 1998 to present. Also, he shares his rich experience with other Christian community in Ghana and was the Chairman of the Christian Council of Ghana from 2003 to 2007. Dr. Fynn preaches with power and has been on the list of Guest Speakers at several conferences, conventions, seminars, workshops and Church Services both locally and internationally. Dr. Fynn has written several journals for the Lutheran Church International.
Achievements
Currently, Dr. Fynn, who himself a Noble, is the President of the West Africa Nobles Forum – a group of eminent West Africa Nobles and has chaired several Committees and Boards of various organizations.
Awards
He received the 2013 Ghana’s Best Entrepreneurship Award in Education.

Mr. Frank K Yeboah
Education / Career
Educated at University of Ghana ( UG) where he obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA), Mr. Frank K. Yeboah has been the Registrar, Wisconsin International University College, Ghana (WIUC-GH), since August 2013. Previously, he was the Registrar, Catholic University College of Ghana, Fiapre, for one academic year after his retirement from UG in August, 2012.
In 2003, the University Council appointed him as College Registrar, College of Health Sciences, a position he held till his retirement from UG. He held other administrative positions in UG, including Secretary – Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals (CVCP) now called Vice-Chancellors, Ghana (VCG), Administrative Secretary – Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR), Executive Secretary (Deputy Registrar) – University of Ghana Business School. For three decades, Mr. Yeboah provided dedicated service not only to UG but also to other public universities in Ghana.
Awards
Mr. Yeboah has received various awards, including British Council Study Fellowship for Higher Education Management Programme at the University of Manchester, UK, Association of Commonwealth Universities Staff Development Fellowship for a study tour of UK, Ghana Chamber of Mines Travel Grant and JICA Fellowship for Counterpart Training in Japan. He has benefited immensely from two professional certificate courses in Higher Education Management offered by University of Manchester and Galilee Institute, Israel. He has travelled widely to participate in international conferences, including those of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of African Universities, International Meeting of University Administrators, American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) and International Conference on World-Class Universities. He has served as a resource person for capacity building workshops and seminars for university administrators within and outside Ghana.
Research
He has edited among others two published conference proceedings titled “Effective Management of Resources in Higher Education Institutions” and “Human Resource Management and Faculty Management in Higher Education Institutions.” He has written many administrative and technical reports on Education, including assisting in drafting “Meeting the Challenges of Education in the Twenty First Century” – Report of the President’s Committee on Review of Education Reforms in Ghana, October, 2002.
His areas of special administrative/professional or research interests are human resource management and institutional management and governance with special reference to higher education institutions.
Hobbies
His hobbies are reading, sports and gardening.
