Susan Adorkor Augustt’s love and passion for music knows no bounds. As a contemporary, soul and jazz artiste, Susan expresses her inklings and emotions through music.
On the sidelines of the 3rd Graduation Ceremony of the Department of Music of the Wisconsin International University College, Susan who was one of the graduands in the Special Artiste programme said her interest for music emanated from her quest to express herself as well as a good source of therapy.
She intimated that her desire to pursue a course at the Department of Music of the Wisconsin International University College is informed by inimitability of the Wisconsin Music unit as compared to its competitors.
The soul and jazz singer who is also a recording artiste commended her lecturers for their passion in training them, which she believes has helped in expanding her knowledge in music.
She added her expectations were exceeded with the state-of- the-arts music studio which allowed for practical training. As a suggestion, she called on the department to engage a lot more instructors and industry players with varied backgrounds and skill sets in further deepening the impact in churning world musicians and engineers.
Susan released her first live music project called “Effects” in 2019 and looks forward to even greater things including creating, writing and setting up her own studio.
