The Founder and Chancellor of Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, Dr Paul Kofi Fynn, has been recognised as one of the 100 Most Impactful Education Personalities in Africa 2025 at the 4th Africa Education Summit, held under the auspices of Global Skills Hub and the Ministry of Education of Ghana.
This prestigious honour celebrates Dr Fynn’s outstanding contribution to advancing quality education across Africa and his enduring commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and institutional development. This recognition further reinforces Wisconsin International University College, Ghana’s position as a leading institution committed to shaping the future of education in Africa.

The Africa Education Summit is a premier continental platform that convenes policymakers, educators, researchers, EdTech innovators, and development partners to shape the future of education in Africa. Participants included Ministers and senior officials from African Ministries of Education, teachers, lecturers, vice chancellors, curriculum developers, EdTech companies, multilateral organisations, civil society actors, private sector representatives, as well as students and youth advocates.

The Summit also honoured other distinguished personalities and institutions, including the University of Cape Coast, which is Wisconsin’s affiliate and mentor institution, and was adjudged Africa’s Outstanding University of the Year, and Peter Nortsu-Kotoe, Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Education, who received special recognition for his contributions to education in Ghana.
The 4th Africa Education Summit brought together participants from over 20 countries. The event provided a unique opportunity for stakeholders to develop a unified vision for the digital transformation of education across the continent, with a focus on leveraging technology to deliver accessible, inclusive, and high-quality learning for all.
