Celebrating Wisconsin’s Global Community
WIUC-Ghana hosts students from over 25 countries, including Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, Benin, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Kenya, Uganda, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, and others. The university prides itself on being one of the most culturally diverse institutions in Ghana, offering affordable and flexible academic programs and fee payment, International student support services in the form of free non–citizen residence permit registration for international students, internship and career development opportunities, a multicultural learning environment, and scholarships for needy and brilliant students.
One of the highlights of student life is the annual International Students Week, a celebration featuring cultural exhibitions, food fairs, traditional dance, fashion showcases, sporting activities, academic debates, and leadership summits.
