Get ready for the most thrilling tech event of the season, dubbed the CyberXplore Expo 2025, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. This year’s event, organised by the School of Computing and Technology in collaboration with Get4Less, promises to be an electrifying experience of discovery, innovation, and hands-on cybersecurity exploration.
As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, invites all students, staff, and tech enthusiasts to join this one-day event under the theme “Explore, Defend, and Respond: Empowering a Cyber-Ready Campus.”
The first activity begins at 9:00 am with thought-provoking discussions on the growing importance of cybersecurity in today’s digital world at Block C, Third Floor, followed by live demonstrations that will bring cyber defence to life, which will take place at the ICT laboratory.
The event will, among other things, expose participants to eye-opening presentations on digital vulnerabilities and how to counter them and real-time demonstrations using cutting-edge digital forensics tools to investigate cyber incidents. It will also engage participants on topics such as how to Protect Your MoMo Wallet, using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for better security, digital Forensics in Action, safe Link Sharing app Update Practices and the Latest in Cyber Threats and how to Stay Ahead
This event marks the grand finale of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, offering every participant the chance to experience, learn, and defend in real-world simulated scenarios.
