Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, proudly congratulates our esteemed President, Dr. Lawrence A. Kannae, on his inauguration as Chairman of the Civil Service Council of Ghana.
The inauguration, held on 19th August 2025 at the Jubilee House, was performed by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, on behalf of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, in accordance with Section 35 of the Civil Service Act 1993 (PNDC Law 327).
Dr. Kannae now leads the newly constituted eight-member Civil Service Council, sworn into office during the ceremony. In his response, Dr Kannae expressed heartfelt gratitude to the President for the confidence reposed in him and assured the nation of the Council’s commitment to professionalism, integrity, and excellence in the discharge of its mandate.
The Chief of Staff, in his address, charged the Council to align its work with the Government’s resetting agenda, emphasising the importance of integrity and professionalism as guiding principles for the Civil Service.
We celebrate this prestigious national recognition of Dr. Lawrence A. Kannae’s leadership and distinguished service. His appointment is not only a personal honor but also a testament to the values and excellence that Wisconsin International University College, Ghana represnts.
