WIUC-Ghana SRC President Pays Official Visit To University Of Cape Coast

The President of the Wisconsin International University College, Ghana Students’ Representative Council (SRC), H.E. Hakeem Enyan Steve, was at the University of Cape Coast on Saturday on Saturday 27th January 2024 as a Guest of Honour at the inauguration of the 21st Student Parliamentary Council of the University.

Speaking to the Members of Parliament, H.E. Enyan admonished the student leaders to create a ladder of values and priorities to constantly remind them of their obligations.

“Fellow Comrades and Compatriots, being a student leader is an opportunity presented to you to catapult you into the leadership role of your communities. I urge you all that, so much is relied on integrity. Guard it with your life: keeping keen to ensuring our integrity is at check, that our lives will shine unto others to bring credit to our Maker and our Names.” He said.

H. E Hakeem further encouraged them to be loyal to their fashion and to act like Kings if they were going to be treated as such. He said, that immediately you become a student leader, your appearance should be a serious business to you for people to take you seriously. He added that “you dress how you want to be addressed”. Although we do not have to judge a book by its cover, the cover will attract you to want to buy, it is an invitation to treat. That should be the mindset on the appearance of student leaders.

The Wisconsin SRC President later congratulated all Parliamentarians and the RT. Hon. Mohammed Fuseini, the Speaker of the 21st Parliament of the University and encouraged them to concentrate on their forces with the phrase “A divided House will not stand”.
