WISCONSIN CENTRE FOR PROFESSIONAL STUDIES GRADUATES 30 IN SECURITY MANAGEMENT

Thirty (30) personnel from various organizations have graduated from the Wisconsin Center for Professional Studies with a Diploma in Functional Security Management. The 20 weekends of teaching took participants through training in Professional Diploma in Functional Security Management and Advanced Investigation.

Speaking to participants at a short graduation ceremony, the Director for the center, Dr. Charles Acheampong admonished the participants to make the best out of the training they have received in effecting positive change not only in their respective organizations but in their communities as a whole.

Some of the participants took turns to express their appreciation to the team at the Wisconsin Center for Professional Studies for offering them the unique opportunity to build their capacity and enhance their knowledge base through 20 weekends of constant interaction with key industry players from various strategic security establishments in Ghana. 

The Wisconsin Center for Professional Studies was established in 2010 and is the only institute in Ghana currently running the Diploma in Security Management.

The Center also offers other specialized professional training including tuition for the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana and the Chartered Institute of Taxation. It also runs a professional certificate programme in Occupational Health and Safety Management and extra classes for SHS students on the track system.

Meanwhile the center is inviting applications for the next Executive Certificate in Functional Security Management, Forensics and Investigation Psychology, Certificate in paralegal Studies, Computer Forensics, Information Security and Cybercrime Investigation and Occupational Health and safety training which begins on August 14th, 2021.
