A lecturer and senior practitioner in charge of student affairs at the Tshwane
University of Technology
(TUT) in Pretoria, South Africa Mr. Jack Sibanyoni
has paid a visit to Wisconsin International University College Ghana (WIUC-
GH). Mr. Sibanyoni who is visiting Ghana for the first time said his visit to
Wisconsin was to ascertain at first hand the true state of Wisconsin’s drive
and revolution in practical learning and also to familiarise himself with the
operations of universities in Ghana.

During a tour on the Accra campus of Wisconsin university, Mr. Sibanyoni
was visibly enthralled at the state-of-the-art facilities in the Nursing Skills
Laboratory, IT laboratory, the School of Communication Broadcasting Studio,
and the Law Moot Court. He expressed delight at the progress made by
Wisconsin university as a private university.

During an interaction with the International Relations Director at Wisconsin
University International University College, Mr Ebenezer Amuasi, Mr
Sibanyoni called for more partnership and efforts in empowering and
educating the African youth to become useful leaders to the continent. Mr.
Sibanyoni called for the two institutions to explore opportunities of exchange
programs in order to be abreast with global best practices in higher learning.

Mr. Jack Sibanyoni supervises student affairs at the Tshwane University of
Technology in South Africa with over 106 student clubs under him at TUT
University Pretoria campus.

​​​​​​​TUT is the largest contact University in South Africa, providing quality
education to more than 60 000 students every year. The University has
seven faculties and nine campuses. The Tshwane campuses are the Arcadia
Campus, Arts Campus, Pretoria Campus, Ga-Rankuwa Campus and the

North and South Campuses in Soshanguve. TUT also has campuses in
eMalahleni, Mbombela and Polokwane, as well as service points in Durban
and Cape Town.
