More than 150 young people from 38 schools have been equipped with basic I.T . skills at a free programme organised by Wisconsin International University College, Ghana.
Representatives from Concordia University, USA, have visited Wisconsin International University College, Ghana to explore collaboration and exchange opportunities in the area of Nursing.
Margaret McLaughlin, Associate Professor at Concordia University’s School of Nursing, and Rev. Dr. David Birner, Executive Director, International Education, were on a three-day visit to WIUC-Ghana.
Wisconsin graduated its first ever Law students at a ceremony on its Main Campus in Accra on Friday, 30th June 2017.
The degrees were conferred on the graduates by the Provost of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)
Top-ranking education officials from Sokoto State in Nigeria have paid a two-day visit to Wisconsin to assess the university’s credentials and facilities. The delegation comprised the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, the Commissioner of Higher Education and the Director General,Sokoto Scholarship Board.
Global founder of Wisconsin International University, Dr John Buuck, said he was impressed by the progress WIUC-Ghana had made since its inception in 1998. Dr Buuck paid a visit to WIUC-Ghana’s Main Campus on 7th April, 2017.
