Wisconsin has hosted representatives from various embassies at the first Vice Chancellor’s Forum of the year. The Vice Chancellor’s Forum is an initiative aimed at strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.
Wisconsin has become the first institution in the country to offer the BSc. Community Health Nursing degree programme. The University College has also received a license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana to run the BSc. Midwifery programme.
The Vice Chancellor of Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, Professor Obeng Mireku has appealed to the government to equip older universities to aid in the adequate supervision of new universities before granting charters.
The Chinese Embassy has presented awards of excellence to 11 Wisconsin students for their outstanding performance in Chinese language. The awards ceremony, on 14th November 2017, was attended by the Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Ghana, Mr. Jian Zhouteng.
Scoping work has begun on an IT project that will simplify and improve processes for students, faculty and administrative staff. The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system will integrate various functions into one complete system to streamline processes and information across the entire organisation.
