Nigeria Ambassador commends Wisconsin University College, Ghana

Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ghana Amb. Olifemi M. Abikoye commends Wisconsin University College for its role in training quality workforce across Africa, assuring increased collaboration with WIUC-Gh in building an ethical and integrated society across the subregion through quality education. 

The Ambassador made the call when a team from the Wisconsin International University College, Ghana led by its Chancellor Rev. Dr. Paul Fynn and Vice Chancellor Professor Obeng Mireku paid a courtesy call on him on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. 

The discussions largely centered on how the two institutions can increase collaboration to sustain and improve the quality of the workforce churned out from African universities and Colleges to drive and fast track the development of the  Africa continent. 

The Chancellor for the Wisconsin International University, Ghana Rev. Dr. Paul Fynn reiterated the university’s stance on “zero tolerance” for indiscipline among its student body and management.

The Chancellor also reminded the Ambassador of the new innovation by the school completely moving into practical teaching with the installation modern technological gadgets in all classrooms including the stimulators for the nurses Skills lab, School of Communication Studies training Studio, and acquisition of additional and hi-tech computers for its IT lab.
