Hello to all freshmen and continuing students!
The WIUC Career Services Centre is committed to meeting the career development needs of students. We are available to assist you gain career skills and identify career opportunities to maximise your potential.
Through our career preparatory programmes and workshops, our goal is that you graduate, ready to face your future with confidence.
As always, we are  excited and look forward to working with you on your career journey!
The Wisconsin Career Service Centre provides guidelines and opportunities that helps students gain a practical understanding of the working world.

Our programmes and services assist students in easing the transition from academic life to their career of choice, placing emphasis on career exploration, job search skills development and strategies and connections with employers.

Our weekly classroom sessions (career preparatory programme) with students offer in-depth insights into various career issues such as:

  • Self-Assessment Tests (Career Anchor Assessments)
  • Career exploration and planning: Choosing a specialization and exploring various career options as well as developing a personalized career development plan
  • Goal setting
  • Internship etiquette and opportunities
  • Cover letter and CV writing practice
  • Presentation & Interviewing skills
  • Job Search & Application techniques
  • Mock interviews with seasoned industry experts
  • Entrepreneurship development

Career Services also offers individual and group career advising, a wide range of events and workshops, individual resume and cover letter critiques, practice interviews, and daily drop-In sessions.

Wisconsin Students are expected to embark on at least one internship with a corporate organization for a minimum of 6 weeks and upon completion, they are to submit an assessment form completed by employer. Students are to submit detailed report on their internship experience on completion of their internship.

To achieve our main objective of preparing students for the job market, Career Services liaises with various stakeholders to offer internship and potential job opportunities for students.
