Student Affairs
Student affairs on WIUC-Ghana campus is by and large well coordinated by the Student Representative Council and Management through the office of the Dean of Student Affairs. These offices ensure that we leverage on the over 25 African nationals studying here to provide a truly international and culturally diverse campus for both academic and extracurricular activities.
The office of the Dean of Student Affairs is the university’s official channel that is mandated to ensure the general well-being of our students. The office therefore advises management and provides directions to improving the interest of students on campus. It also receives and addresses complaints, observations, and suggestions from students.
Also, the SRC provides a critical link between students and management of the university. It is the office that is at the forefront of championing the interest of students. The WIUC SRC has a strong voice in all management decisions.
Apart from the management responsibility, the SRC champions extracurricular activities for the students. It has 2 flagship programs that are celebrated every year. These include the WIUC SRC Week and the WIUC Akwaaba Night. These are highly patronized days on the Wisconsin calendar marked by games and entertainment. Over the years, they are always climaxed by some of Ghana’s most sensational musicians of the time.
