Advancements in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have made it possible for fast, and relatively cheaper collection, aggregation and analysis of large volumes of data, sometimes with little or no human intervention. However, in spite of the integral role played by ICT in public services, commercial exchanges and in social interactions, many lapses continue to persist in jurisprudence, regulatory frameworks, and in many corporate policies and processes contributing to many incidences of cybercrime, information privacy abuses, and lack of trust in electronic transactions. This executive course provides the requisite knowledge and expertise for building the capacity of state attorneys, judges, officials of revenue authorities, law enforcement agencies, policy makers and business executives engaged in ICT related contracts.
