The Bachelor of Arts programme in Development and Environmental Studies is the newly NAB- accredited and sought after programme at Wisconsin International University College www.wiuc-ghana.edu.gh.  This new programme is offered in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and builds on essential elements of the existing BA in Rural Development and Ecotourism. The programme provides you with professional approach to academic learning from highly qualified and experienced team of development and environmental expects. The mode of delivery comprises lectures, discussions, practical assignments and field trips.

The programme is delivered by highly qualified, hardworking, and dedicated faculty with cross-cutting specializations in academia, industry and public service.

PROGRAMME GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  1. WASSCE & SSCE

Candidates must have six credits (A1-C6) in English, Mathematics and Integrated Science (Biology or Agricultural Science for Nigerian applicants) or Social Studies and three elective subjects, making an aggregate of not more than 36. For SSCE, candidates must have six credits (A-D) in the three Core Subjects and three electives, making an aggregate of not more than 24.

Candidates with less than five credits may be enrolled into a certificate programme. Such candidates would have to inprove their WASSCE results to qualify for admission into a Degree programme.

  1. Mature Students

Candidates must be at least 25 years old and must write and pass an entrance examination in English, Mathematics, IT, and General Business. They may also be required to attend an interview.

Applicants with GCE, ICGSE, GBCE, ABCE, Baccalaureate, Professional Courses (ICA, ACCA, CIM etc) and HND, among others may contact us for levels of placement.
